In a year where many foundations experienced unprecedented financial challenges the RE-1 Valley Foundation believed it was essential to continue to support the District, and funded strategic initiatives and projects at near record levels.

For the 2011-2012 FY the Foundation provided more than $10,000 to the students and staff in the RE-1 Valley School District.

• Develop Board orientation and Board of Directors manual
   
• Continue Board recruitment efforts 

• Increase the Foundation's visibility within the community by developing a strategic marketing plan
   
• Develop fundraising strategy that includes public support-individual donors, staff donors, major donors, and grant opportunities.
   
• Continue to work with RE-1 Valley School Board & staff to find innovative solutions, develop partnerships, and seek funding for strategic initiatives that support students and their families in the District.
